Mohammad Javad Kazemi executed in Arak Central Prison

The death sentence of a prisoner identified as Mohammad Javad Kazemi, who had previously been convicted of premeditated murder by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran, was carried out at Arak Central Prison.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the execution took place at dawn on Monday, July 14, 2025, at Arak Central Prison, where Kazemi, a native of Arak, was being held.

Kazemi had been arrested and sentenced to death on charges of premeditated murder.

News of the execution has not been published by state media, particularly outlets affiliated with the Iranian judiciary.
