Iranian authorities execute Baloch prisoners Ahmad Dehani and Mohammad Ali Lashari

Iranian authorities executed two Baloch prisoners, Ahmad Dehani and Mohammad Ali Lashari, in separate prisons in Zahedan and Isfahan this week. Both men had been convicted on charges of premeditated murder and drug-related offenses.

According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Mohammad Ali Lashari, 38, a father of three originally from Zahedan and residing in Bandar Abbas, was executed at dawn on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, in Isfahan Central Prison (Dastgerd). 

The news outlet Haalvsh reported that Lashari had been arrested seven years earlier on drug-related charges and later sentenced to death.

A day earlier, on Tuesday, August 26, 30-year-old Ahmad Dehani from Mehrestan in Sistan and Baluchestan Province was executed in Zahedan Prison. He had been arrested two years ago on charges of premeditated murder and subsequently sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.

These executions have not been reported in Iranian state media, including outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
