Three prisoners executed in Isfahan and Sabzevar prisons

Three prisoners, including one Turkish prisoner, have been executed in Iran’s Isfahan and Sabzevar prisons after being convicted of “premeditated murder.” The executions involved Vahid Ebrahimi, Mousa Alizadeh, and Mostafa Pirabbasi.

According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, two of the executions took place at dawn on Sunday, September 21, 2025, in Isfahan Central Prison (Dastgerd), where Mousa Alizadeh, 28, from Tabriz, and Vahid Ebrahimi, 33, from Isfahan, were put to death. Ebrahimi had been imprisoned for seven years on murder charges, while Alizadeh had been arrested five years earlier following a street altercation and later sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.

In a separate case, Mostafa Pirabbasi was executed at dawn on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, in Sabzevar Central Prison in Razavi Khorasan Province. He had been detained for six years on murder charges and later sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

State media, including outlets linked to the judiciary, have not reported on these executions.
