Iranian authorities execute seven prisoners, including a woman, in Isfahan and Shiraz

Authorities in Iran have carried out the executions of seven prisoners in Isfahan and Shiraz, among them a woman. The individuals executed were identified as Ali Keshavarz, Sajad Aslani, Ahmad Bakhtiar, Keyvan Rahmati, Kamran Amirzadegan, Mahnaz Dehqani, and Seyed Morad Hemmati. They had been convicted on charges of murder and drug-related offenses.

According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, four men were executed at dawn in Dastgerd Prison, Isfahan: Ali Keshavarz, 30, from Shiraz; Ahmad Bakhtiar, 45, from Isfahan; Keyvan Rahmati, 27, from Hamadan; and Sajad Aslani. Keshavarz and Aslani were arrested four years ago in separate cases on drug-related charges. Rahmati was convicted of murder, while Bakhtiar had been arrested seven years earlier on murder charges.

On the same day, three others were executed in Adelabad Prison, Shiraz: Mahnaz Dehqani, Kamran Amirzadegan (Amirzadegani), and Seyed Morad Hemmati. Each had been convicted in separate murder cases.

As of publication, the executions have not been reported by Iranian state media, including outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
