Farzad Mohibi executed in Qazvin Central Prison

Hengaw– Saturday, September 6, 2025 

The death sentence of Farzad Mohibi, a prisoner convicted on drug-related charges, was carried out in Qazvin Central Prison. 

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Mohibi was executed at dawn on Saturday, September 6, 2025. 

He had previously been arrested on drug-related charges and sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary. 

State media, including judiciary-affiliated outlets, have not reported his execution.
