Hengaw – Sunday, September 14, 2025
With the arrest of Soran Mozaffari, a student and minor from Kamyaran, the number of students detained in this Kurdish city in recent days has risen to six.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, security forces arrested Mozaffari in Kamyaran on Monday, September 8, 2025.
Mozaffari suffers from diabetes and requires regular insulin injections, raising serious concerns for his health and well-being in detention.
Over the past week, five other students and minors from Kamyaran — Payam Hosseini, Oraz Zamani, Behrooz Rashidi, Ehsan Sabouri, and Kavan Sabouri — were arrested by the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence.
Days after their arrests, no information has been provided about the charges against them, their whereabouts, or conditions in detention, leaving families deeply concerned for their safety.
