Baloch prisoner Amir Parki put in solitary five times before execution in Zahedan

Hengaw – Sunday, September 14, 2025
Iranian authorities have executed Amir Parki (also known as Balochzehi), a 28-year-old Baloch prisoner from Saravan in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, at Zahedan Central Prison. He had been convicted of premeditated murder following a dispute and sentenced to death four years ago.
According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the execution took place at dawn on Sunday. Parki, a resident of Bampost in Saravan County and the father of one child, had previously been transferred to solitary confinement at least five times in preparation for his sentence.
The most recent transfer occurred on August 8, 2025, before he was returned to the general ward with a ten-day reprieve to allow time for the victim’s family to grant clemency.
State-run media, including judiciary-affiliated outlets, had not reported the execution as of publication.
