Three prisoners executed in Borazjan, Qom, and Semnan prisons

The Iranian authorities have executed three prisoners identified as Ayoub Vali, Mehdi Hamzeipour, and Shafi Farati in the prisons of Borazjan, Qom, and Semnan. The three men had previously been sentenced to death on charges of “premeditated murder” and “drug-related offenses” by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Vali was executed at dawn on Sunday, October 19, 2025, in Borazjan Prison after being convicted of murder.

On the same day, Hamzeipour, a resident of Arak, was executed in Qom Central Prison. He had been sentenced to death for drug-related charges.

In a separate case, Farati, 28, from Yazd, was executed at dawn on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, in Semnan Central Prison. He had been arrested five years earlier for murdering a man who had reportedly harassed his sister at Semnan University after proposing to her, and was later sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.

The executions of these three prisoners have not been announced by state-run media, particularly those affiliated with Iran’s judiciary.
