Arman Niri and Abolfazl Foroukhi executed in the Prisons of Karaj and Hamedan

The death sentences of two prisoners, Arman Niri and Abolfazl Foroukhi, have been carried out in the prisons of Karaj and Hamedan. They had previously been convicted on charges of premeditated murder and drug-related offenses

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the execution of Niri was carried out at dawn on Saturday, November 29, 2025 in Karaj Central Prison. He had previously been arrested on a charge of premeditated murder and later sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

On the same day, the death sentence of Foroukhi was implemented in Hamedan Central Prison.
He had been arrested earlier on drug-related charges and subsequently sentenced to death.

The executions of these two prisoners have not been announced by Iranian state media, including outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
