Four Baloch prisoners executed in Iranian prisons

Iranian authorities have executed four Baloch prisoners, in the central prisons of Isfahan, Zahedan, and Bam. Mehrdad Espid, Abdollah Barahoui, Parviz Rigi, and Keyvan Shahbakhsh had previously been sentenced to death on charges of “premeditated murder” and “drug-related offences” by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the death sentence of Shahbakhsh, a father of one and a native of Domag in Zahedan, was carried out at dawn on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in Bam Prison in Kerman Province. Shahbakhsh had been arrested four years ago on “drug-related offences” and sentenced to death.
Barahoui, 39, a father of two from Zahedan, and Espid, 38, from Bandar Abbas were executed at dawn on Monday, December 1, 2025. Their executions were carried out in Isfahan Central Prison (Dastgerd). According to Haalvsh, Barahoui and Espid had been arrested five years ago in a joint case on “drug-related offences” and subsequently sentenced to death.
Rigi, 30, from the Shirabad district of Zahedan, was executed at dawn on Sunday, November 30, 2025, in Zahedan Central Prison. Rigi had been arrested around three years ago on the charge of “killing his wife” and later sentenced to death.
The execution of these prisoners has not been announced by state-run media, particularly outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
