Four Kurdish residents, including two minors, violently arrested in Abdanan

Iranian government forces have violently arrested four Kurdish residents in Abdanan (Awdanan), Ilam Province, including two 17-year-old minors, and transferred them to an undisclosed location.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the arrests took place on Monday, December 15, 2025. The detainees are Ilma Imani, 17, from the village of Hazarani; Soheil Parkerzan, 17, from the village of Haft Kani; and Amirali Heydari and Hossein Hajian, two young residents of Abdanan.

Informed sources told Hengaw that the Intelligence Department carried out the arrests without presenting a warrant and used physical violence during the operation.

Following their arrest, the four detainees were transferred to an unknown location. No reliable information is available regarding their fate.
