Four killed by direct fire from state forces during protests in Razavi Khorasan

Four individuals—Mohammad-Amin Hosseini, Sajad Ordouni Kabir, Mousa al-Reza Akbari, and Abolfazl Paydar—were killed by direct live fire from state forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran during popular protests in the cities of Mashhad and Sabzevar.
Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, has received information that, Mohammad-Amin Hosseini, a 38-year-old resident of Mashhad, was killed on the evening of Friday, January 9, 2026, after being shot directly by government forces during protests in the city.
On the same day, two individuals—Sajad Ordouni Kabir and Mousa al-Reza Akbari, both from Sabzevar—were also killed by direct fire from state forces in that city.
Additionally, Abolfazl Paydar, a young man from Sabzevar, was killed on the evening of Thursday, January 8, 2026, after being shot by government forces.
According to informed sources, these individuals were targeted at close range with military-grade weapons by state forces.
