Fate of at least 14 Kurds arrested across multiple cities in Iran remains unknown

At least 14 Kurdish individuals, including two women, have been arbitrarily detained by Iranian government forces amid an ongoing crackdown following recent protests. The arrests took place in Bukan, Sanandaj, Sarishabad, Bolbanabad, Badreh, Ivan-e Gharb, Sirvan, and Sarableh, with no official information released regarding the detainees’ whereabouts, legal status, or charges.
The identities of the detainees verified by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights are as follows:
Bukan
Siamand Ghaderzadeh, Salim Ghaderzadeh, and Zahra (surname unknown), all residents of Amirabad village near Bukan, were violently arrested on Sunday, January 25, without warrants, and transferred to undisclosed locations. Sources said government forces confiscated their mobile phones and home surveillance cameras during the raid.
Sanandaj
That same day, Sohrab Bahrami, a civil society activist from Sanandaj, was arrested during a violent raid on his home by intelligence agents and transferred to the Intelligence Ministry’s security detention facility in Sanandaj.
Badreh, Ivan-e Gharb, Sirvan, and Sarableh (Ilam Province)
Danial Bashi, 20, from Ganjeh village in Badreh County, was arrested on January 18 and taken to an undisclosed location. More than seven days later, his fate remains unknown.
Hadi Najafinejad, 32, from Ivan-e Gharb, was detained on January 23 and transferred to an undisclosed location. After 15 days, authorities have provided no information regarding his whereabouts or legal status.
Brothers Mohammad Rahmani and Arian Rahmani, from Sirvan County, were arrested on January 8 and taken to an unknown location. More than 20 days later, their fate remains unknown.
That same day, Fereshteh Mansourinia, 36, from Sarableh, was arrested and transferred to an undisclosed location. She had previously been detained in connection with the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement. More than 20 days later, authorities have released no information regarding her status or location.
Emad Heydarian, 20, from Zarneh in Ivan County, was arrested on January 5 and transferred to an unknown location. More than 23 days later, his fate remains unknown.
Bolbanabad and Sarishabad
In Bolbanabad (Dehgolan County), Armin Mohammadi, Reza Mohammadi, and Milad Mohammadi were arrested and taken to undisclosed locations.
Meanwhile, Davoud Rezaei, an employee of the Agricultural Bank and a resident of Sarishabad, was arrested by IRGC Intelligence agents while returning home from work and transferred to an unknown location.
