December Protests: Iranian forces arrest 10 Kurds, including one woman, in Sanandaj

As part of the ongoing wave of arrests linked to the December protests, at least ten Kurdish individuals, including one woman, have been arrested by forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Sanandaj. The detainees were transferred to undisclosed locations.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, those arrested have been identified as Bayan Farajollahi, Khaled Seifpanahi, Arman Salimi, Qaneh Khateri, Diler Eskandari, Jamal Khodarahmi, Keyvan Zendkarimi, Shaho Mohammadi, Khabat Asadi, and Voriya Moeid.
The arrests were carried out during coordinated raids on their homes on Sunday, January 4, 2026, by Iranian state forces in Sanandaj.
The detainees are Kurdish civil and environmental activists.
Informed sources further stated that the arrests were conducted without warrants.
