Two 17-year-old Baloch minors arrested in Chabahar

Iranian authorities have arrested two 17-year-old Baloch minors, identified as Abdolrahman Raeisi and Ali Talatof, from Sarbaz county in the city of Chabahar, according to information obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights.

Raeisi and Talatof, both residents of Sarbaz county, were transferred to a security detention center in Zahedan on Saturday, April 18, 2026, after being held in custody for 10 days.

The two teenagers were initially arrested on Wednesday, April 8, in Chabahar by Iranian government forces without the presentation of a warrant.

During their detention, both minors were denied contact with their families and were not allowed family visits.

No information has been made available regarding the reasons for their arrest, their exact place of detention or any charges filed against them.

Repeated efforts by their families to obtain answers from judicial and security authorities have so far gone unanswered.
