Iranian authorities have arrested five Baloch individuals, including a minor, in separate incidents across Fanuj, Mehrestan, and Sib and Soran in Sistan and Baluchestan Province. Their whereabouts and condition remain unknown.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Abdolmalek Dehani, a 25-year-old resident of Kohn-Megar village in Mehrestan County, was arrested on Saturday, May 30, 2026, when plainclothes agents affiliated with the Intelligence Department raided his family home. The agents arrested him without presenting a warrant and transferred him to an undisclosed location.

Two days earlier, on Thursday, May 28, security forces arrested Yarmohammad Jahandideh, 35, from Kalan village in the Hidouch district of Sib and Soran County, and Idris Bahoutzehi, 30, from Mehrestan, during separate raids on their homes. Both men were subsequently taken to undisclosed locations.

In another case, security forces violently arrested Amirhossein Boostani, a Baloch man from Sib and Soran County, at his workplace in Shiraz on May 3, 2026. After several days in detention, he was transferred to Zahedan.

Boostani has not been permitted any contact with his family since his arrest, heightening concerns about his health and well-being.

Meanwhile, Intelligence Department agents arrested Arshia Salehnezhad (Chakeri), a 17-year-old from Fanuj in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, on April 7, 2026, without presenting a warrant. He was subsequently transferred to the Intelligence Department detention facility in Zahedan. Despite the passage of 52 days since his arrest, repeated efforts by his family to obtain information about his situation have been unsuccessful.

All five detainees have been deprived of access to legal counsel, family contact, and visitation rights since their arrests.

The reasons for their arrests, any charges against them, their place of detention, and their current condition remain unknown.
