Authorities execute three prisoners, including a Baloch father of three

Iranian authorities have executed three prisoners, including a Baloch man, at the prisons of Jiroft, Adel Abad (Shiraz), and Arak. The prisoners, identified as Mohammad Osman Daneh Barchin (Naroui), Aslan Amiri, and Sobhan Abbasi, had previously been sentenced to death on charges of “drug-related offenses” and “premeditated murder.”
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Mohammad Osman Daneh Barchin (Naroui), a 35-year-old Baloch man from Iranshahr and father of three, was executed in the early hours of Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Adel Abad Prison in Shiraz. He had been arrested five years ago on “drug-related offenses” charges and was later sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.
Authorities also carried out the execution of Aslan Amiri at Arak Prison on the same day. He had previously been sentenced to death on “drug-related offenses” charges.
In a separate case, Sobhan Abbasi was executed in the early hours of Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Jiroft Central Prison. He had previously been arrested and sentenced to death on charges of “premeditated murder.”
The executions of these three prisoners have not been announced by Iranian state media or outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
