Baloch man Nesar Alizehi shot dead by Iranian border guards in Zehak

Nesar Alizehi, a Baloch man without official identification documents, was shot and killed by Iranian border guards in a village in Zehak County.
According to information obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Alizehi, approximately 25 years old and from Zabol, was shot on the evening of August 30, 2026, near Pasgah-e Molla Sharif village in Zehak County.
Alizehi, who did not possess official identification documents, was shot by border guards stationed at a military watchtower in the area without being ordered to stop or given any prior warning.
Alizehi was shot in the head and died at the scene.
The reason for the shooting remain unknown, and Iranian law enforcement and border authorities had not issued any official explanation.
