8 Kurdish women arrested from in the last six months

Hengaw: According to statistics registered in the Hengaw Statistic Center, at least 8 Kurdish women have been arrested in accusation of conducting political, religious and civil activities by the Iranian security organizations during the last six months.
Based on the report, three women have been arrested on charge of conducting political activity, three women have been detained on charge of conducting religious activity, a woman has been arrested on charge of conducting civil activity and a woman has been detained on charge of returning from Canada to Iran without having permission.
Two of them have been released on bail, two of them have been released after being interrogated for a day, one of them has been released after 24 days, but the situation and keeping place of there of them is not clear yet.
- Parwaneh Hosseinpanahi, from Dewlan, was arrested on charge of conducting political activities on January 30, 2017 and was released on bail.
