Femicide in Kermanshah: Mohadeseh Mirzaei killed by ex-husband

Mohadeseh Mirzaei, a 30-year-old woman from Kermanshah (Kermashan), was killed by her ex-husband, Mohammad Karami, in a case of femicide. Karami has been arrested by law enforcement. 

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Sunday, July 13, 2025, Karami lured Mohadeseh to meet under the pretext of discussing a possible reconciliation. During the meeting, following an argument and physical altercation, he murdered her. 

Sources confirmed that Mohadeseh Mirzaei was the mother of a five-year-old son. 

Her body was buried later that evening at Chahar Marjan Cemetery in Kermanshah.
