Saqqez— Continued incommunicado detention of Kurdish couple Zhila Tashakori and Dler Salimi

Nearly one month after their arrest by Iranian security forces, there is still no information regarding the fate or whereabouts of Dler Salimi and his wife, Zhila Tashakori, a young Kurdish couple from Saqqez.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, 28 days have passed since their detention by the Intelligence Department, and the couple remains held without contact or clear legal status.
A source close to the family reported that Dler Salimi has had no contact with his family since his arrest, while Tashakori was permitted only a brief phone call.
Hengaw has learned that the couple is currently under interrogation on charges of “espionage for Israel”.
Dler Salimi was arrested on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, by security forces on the Saveh highway. Four days later, his wife, Zhila Tashakori, was summoned to the Intelligence Department and subsequently detained.
Following Dler Salimi’s arrest, security forces raided their family home in Saqqez and confiscated all electronic devices, including mobile phones and computers.
