Hengaw: Mine explosion in Sardasht wounds a Kurdish citizen.
According to reports received by Hengaw, on Wednesday, July 5th, a mine which was left during the 8-year Iran-Iraq war exploded and injured Manaf Thanie, a 37-year-old Kurdish citizen.
The mine which exploded near the Bazaar of Qassem Rash injured Mr. Thanie's right foot. Mr. Thanie was transferred to a medical center in the city for care and treatment.
Based on statistics recorded by Hengaw, a human rights watch reporting on the human rights abuses and violation in Kurdistan and Iran, since the beginning of this year, two Sardasht citizens were injured because of mine explosion.
