Hengaw: A young Kurdish man was shot dead by the Iran forces in Krmashan.
According to reports received by Hengaw, the Iran forces shot and killed a young Kurdish man in Kamyaran, Krmashan on suspicion of having smuggled goods on Saturday, July 9.
Hengaw's reporter in the city states that Jamal Rahmani, aged 22 from "Lun Sadat" village in Kamyaran was shot and killed by the police while in his car.
Mohammad Reza Amoie, Deputy Social Security Officer of Kermanshah province, announced last week that Mr. Rahmani was smuggling goods at the time of the shooting.
This claim is nullified by Mr. Rahman's relative where he states that Mr. Rahmani did not have such goods with him at the time of the shooting.
Every year, several hundred Kurdish citizens are targeted and arrested by Iran's armed forces on the basis of smuggling goods across the border.
