Iranian security forces released 9 Baha’i citizens on bail

Hengaw – At least 9 Baha’i citizens who were arrested days before the 200^th anniversary of the the birth of the founder, Bahaullah, were released two weeks after on bail, said Hengaw reporter.   Among the detainees, Sepideh Ahrari was one of the women who has been released on a bail of 100 million Toman (more than 28 million USD). “She was pregnant and was released last week,” informed Hengaw reporter referring to Ahrari, on Saturday.   The detainees were reportedly arrested on October 18^th in the Kurdish city of Kermanshah. Iranian inspectors searched their houses after the arrestment, added Hengaw reporter inside the city.   Every year on October 22, Baha’i citizens, a minority religion in Iran, celebrate the birth of their prophet, Bahaullah.   Baha’i faith followed by an estimate of 5 to 7 million people in the Middle East is originated in Iran and it has remained as a country with highest concentration for its believers.   Its followers and leaders however are harshly opposed by the Shiite regime of Iran and have been subject to systematic imprisonment, torture and execution.     The identity of the released Baha’i citizens reported as below:
