A teenager who had previously sentenced to death, was murdered after transferring to Miandoab prison

Hengaw: A teenager from Mahabad who had previously sentenced to death, was murdered by the prison security forces after his transferring to Miandoab prison.

According to the report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Thursday morning, April 2, 2020, Danial Zeinolabedin, a teenager from Mahabad who had previously sentenced to death, was murdered in Miandoab central prison.

This young man who had been a teenager in the time of committing crime, had been transferred to Miandoab prison after the rebellion of the prisoners of Mahabad prison.

Based on a source close to the Zeinalabedin's family announced in an interview with Hengaw that Danial has murdered under torture by the security forces. The source added that the prison authorities has claimed that he has committed suicide while the  effects  of torture were completely visible on his body.

Danial Zeinalabedin along with two other detainees named Kamal Asghari and Danial Diwani Azar had murdered one of their 19 years old friend named Sadegh Barmaki on September 22, 2017 and they all sentenced to death on November 2018 and their death sentence was confirmed by the high judicial court.

In the time of rebellion in Mahabad prison, a security source had announced to Hengaw that it was supposed that a number of prisoners would be published and transferred to the prisons of Miandoab, Naqadeh and Khoy.
