Execution of a Kurdish Prisoner in Sanandaj

Hengaw: The death execution of a citizen from Kermanshah who was convicted of homicide was carried out in Sanandaj central prison.

According to the report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, the execution of a citizen from Kermanshah named Shahram Tashkha, 30, was carried out in Sanandaj central prison.

The detainee was convicted of homicide. On Sunday he was transferred to solitary confinement in Sanandaj prison. Shahram Takhsha along with his brother Shahryar Takhsha got arrested by the security forces three years ago for homicide during armed theft. He was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment and death. His brother, Shahryar, was sentenced to 40 years imprisonment the by Islamic Republic judiciary. Shahryar Takhsha is now in Dizel Abad prison in Kermanshah.

Shahram Takhsha was transferred to Sanandaj central prison on Sunday, January, 2018. He got injured by police forces during the arrest and did not receive any medical treatment during the past three years.

The execution of Shahram has not been published by any Iranian media or by the official sources.
