 Hengaw: A Kurdish citizen from Kamyaran district of Kurdistan province in Iranian Kurdistan  has been sentenced to prison by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

 According to a report received by hengaw Human Rights Organization, in recent days, Khalid Zamani, a citizen of Kamyaran, has been sentenced by First Branch of the Revolutionary Court of Sanandaj, headed by Judge Saeedi, to 5 years suspended imprisonment.
 

 According to an informed source, the sentence was issued on charges of acting against national security through membership in the Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK).

 Khalid Zamani was detained on the evening of Wednesday, April 17, 2019, by Iranian Intelligence Forces in Kamyaran , and after 5 months of detention, he was released on a 500 million Toman ( $20000) bail until  the court hearing.
