Kurdish citizen from Naghadeh arrested in Sardasht

Hengaw : A Kurdish citizen from Naghadeh district of  West Azarbaijan ( Urmia ) province has been  arrested by Iranian security forces in Sardasht district and taken to an unknown location.

According to a report received by Hengaw  Human Rights Organization, on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, the Iranian security forces  arrested a Kurdish citizen identified as “ Karim Marufpour “ 24-year-old from Naghadeh ,in city of  Sardasht.

According to an informed source, Karim Marufpour was arrested on charges of collaborating with a Kurdish opposition party and was beaten by Iranian security forces during his detention.

As of preparation of this report , despite the ongoing follow-up of his  family, there is no information regarding his  fate and whereabouts.
