12 female Kurdish prisoners imprisoned in Urmia Central Prison on a death row awaiting execution

Hengaw : For the first time,  Hengaw Human Rights Organisation has been able to obtain information on a list of female Kurdish prisoners sentenced to death in Urmia Central  Prison.

According to an investigation conducted Hengaw  the human rights organization, 12 women are currently being held in women's ward of Urmia Central Prison on charges of premeditated murder.

The identities of these 12 prisoners sentenced to death are as follows:

1- Mahabbat Mahmoudi from Urmia

2- Zahra Farhadi from Urmia

3- Parisa Moradi from Bukan

4- Nishtiman Mohammadi from Sardasht

5- Golzar Ahmadian from Sardasht

6- Faranak Beheshti from Takab

7- Soheila Nematzadeh from Miandoab

8- Mojgan Abdollahi from Mahabad

9- Zeinab Khalid from Sardasht

10- Mojgan Azarpisheh from Urmia

11- Tahmineh Danesh from Khoy

12- Ziba (unknown surname) from Bukan
