Imposing imprisonment and fine sentences for 10 Kurdish activists in January and February 2022
Hengaw: In the last two months, branches of the Revolutionary and Criminal Courts
Hengaw: In the last two months, branches of the Revolutionary and Criminal Courts of the Judical system of the Islamic Republic of Iran have sentenced at least 10 Kurdish political and civil activists to imprisonment and fines.
According to the statistics registered Statistics in the and Documentation Center of Hengaw Human Rights Organization, during January and February 2022, at least 10 Kurdish political and civil activists were tried by the judical system of the Islamic Republic of Iran and sentenced to 7 years imprisonment and 2 years and 6 months suspended imprisonment. One of them was sentenced to pay a fine of 30 million Tomans in addition to imprisonment.
According to this report, four female activists, one of them was an 18-year-old teenager, along with an environmental activist, as well as a poet and a 56-year-old activist, were sentenced to prison by the judiciary.
Most of these sentences, which include 3 cases, were issued by Branch 1 of the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court, headed by Judge Hossein Saeedi.

1- Ahad Mahmoud Hassan from Piranshahr, sentenced to 6 months imprisonment
2- Armin Esperlus from Sanandaj, sentenced to 1 year suspended imprisonment
3- Maryam Sadeghi from Sanandaj, sentenced to 1 year suspended imprisonment
4- Shamzin Mohammadi from Bukan, sentenced to 5 months imprisonment
5- Sheneh Ahmadi from Paveh, sentenced to 6 months imprisonment
6- Roya Mohiy al-Dini from Paveh, sentenced to 1 year imprisonment
7- Ebrahim Tarimoradi from Sanandaj sentenced to 1 year imprisonment and a fine of 30 million Tomans
8- Kamran Takuk from Kermanshah, sentenced to 2 years and 4 months imprisonment
9- Hossein Rahmani from Thalas Babajani, sentenced to 3 months imprisonment and 6 months suspended imprisonment
10- Azhin Rahmani from Kamyaran, sentenced to 1 year imprisonment
