Hengaw: A Kurdish political prisoner from Bukan, who had been arrested for 17 years without the right to leave in Urmia and Yazd prisons, was sent on leave for the first time. 
 
According to the report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, Qader Mohammadzadeh, a political prisoner from Bukan, was released from Yazd Central Prison for the first time after 17 years in prison on 1 billion toman bail. 
 
Qader Mohammadzad was deprived of the right to leave during his entire sentence and had repeatedly gone on a hunger strike to protest. Hengaw was informed that the prisoner had been sent on leave for 10 days. 
 
Qader Mohammadzadeh was arrested by the intelligence service in Bukan on Tuesday, December 20, 2005, and transferred to Urmia Central Prison a few months later. 
 
After 15 months of indecision, the political prisoner was finally sentenced to death by the Mahabad Revolutionary Court on charges of "moharebeh" (fighting) through membership in the Komala Party. 
 
Qader Mohammadzadeh was transferred from Urmia Central Prison to Mahabad Prison on Sunday, April 7, 2019, and he was exiled to Yazd Central Prison later.
