The death sentence of at least eight prisoners sentenced to death for premeditated murder was carried out in Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj on Wednesday morning, June 15, 2022. The identities of three of them have been verified for Hengaw, and two of them were Kurdish citizens from Eyvan-e Gharb and Kermanshah.
According to a report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, Ali Gholami, 24, from the Sarfiruozabad district of Kermanshah, is another person whose death sentence has been carried out. Hengaw had previously reported that Mohammad Shokrian, 25, from Eyvan-e Gharb, was another person whose death sentence had been carried out.
The identity of another executed prisoner, Amir Jafari, has been verified, and the identities of five other prisoners have not yet been established.
