Prisoner from Mahabad dies in Tabriz Prison

Hengaw: A prisoner from Mahabad died unexpectedly in Tabriz prison.

Over the past few days, a prisoner from Mahabad who was sentenced to death penalty, died unexpectedly in Tabriz prison. The reason of his death has not been cleared yet, based on the report of Hengaw Organisation for Human Rights.

"Ali abbasi was the name of the prisoner who was arrested three years ago", Kurdistan Human Rights TV highlighted.

The reason of his death has not been pronounced yet.

Over the past 4 months 16 prisoners in Iran's jails have died which a few cases are suspicious, according to the statistics center of Hengaw Organisation for Human Rights.
