Hengaw – Two Kurdish women from the West Azerbaijan province of Iranian Kurdistan committed suicide recently due to family issues.
On Thursday, Sharmin Ahmedi Tapa-Rash, who is from the city of Oshnavieh (Shno), after continued relationship difficulties with her husband, set herself on fire and passed away, a source familiar with the case told Hengaw.
On Friday, Meriam Jangalli, 30, a woman from the city of Piranshahr, also having issues with her husband, jumped to her death from the fourth floor of an apartment building.
Earlier on Wednesday, a Kurdish youth from the city of Sanandaj (Sna), Kurdistan Province, by the name of Sroosh Mahmoudi, hanged himself due to disputes with his family and passed away.
