A political prisoner from Maku identified as Jamal Arash, 23, who was previously sentenced to one year in prison by the Judicial system, was recently released from Maku Central Prison with an electronic shackles.
According to the report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, Jamal Arash was arrested by the Maku Intelligence forces in September 2021 and one month later, on Saturday, October 9, 2021, he had been transferred to Maku Central Prison after the interrogation process was completed.
Jamal Arash was finally sentenced to one year in prison by Branch 101 of the Maku Criminal Court headed by Judge "Garusi" on charges of "Membership in the Kurdistan Freedom Party (PAK)".
