Soran and Manouchehr Abdullahzadeh, two brothers, were detained by security forces during the Naqadeh protests two weeks ago, since then their whereabouts still are unknown.
According to a report received by Hengaw, security forces detained the brothers on September 20, 2022, during demonstrations against the state-kill of Kurdish woman Zhina Amini, 22, who died due to beatings while being held by the police.
An informed source confirms that Soran Abdullahzadeh was shot with a shotgun during the protests and that the security forces beat him and his brother while they were being held.
Since these two brothers were detained about two weeks ago, their relatives have been contacted, but no updates have been made on their whereabouts or current situation.
