Hengaw legal team’s exclusive report regarding the person who was killed by the Iranian security forces on Bahman Street in Sanandaj

 Following the beginning of the investigation regarding the identity of the person who was killed by the Iranian security forces during the protests in Sanandaj city on Saturday, October 8, 2022, Hengaw’s legal team has obtained new footage regarding this incident.
 

 In this new footage, which was sent to Hengaw with an indescribable delay due to the internet outage in Sanandaj, it is clear that a Kia Pride with license plate number “399 S. 36 (Iran-51)” on 6th Bahman Street was in front of Golha shopping center was attacked by uniformed forces.  

The uniformed forces attacked the target with a baton and the windshield got broken and the driver quickly ran away from the place.  After passing a few meters, the sound of gunshots was heard.  The picture shows that the same Pride with the same license plate “399 S.36 (Iran-51)” was shot in front of the Red Crescent Pharmacy and the driver was killed.  According to the received information, the owner of this car is a person named "Yahya Rahimi Sarab Shahraki".

 However, despite the confirmation of the killing of the driver of this car by Iranian security forces, the concern is the matching of the car’s owner.

 identity with the person who was shot.  In this regard, after interviewing the informants, Hengaw can announce that the identity of the killed person is the owner of Pride, named "Yahya Rahimi Sarab Shahraki", whose killing was denied by the commander of the Iranian Police Force in Kurdistan. 

In a conversation with Tasnim, Ali Azadi also falsely stated that the place where this person was killed in a side street (Tafsir Street), while the existing picture is quite clear that the shooting took place on Bahman 6th Street.

  It is worth mentioning that the number of people killed in Sanandaj during the past day was more than 4 people, but in the current situation and considering the disruption in the Internet and sometimes the disruption in the telephone network in Sanandaj, it is not possible to make a definitive confirmation.
