At least four civilians were detained by security forces during protests in Darreh Shahr city, Ilam Province, namely Payam Rezaei son of Nooraddin, Payam Rezaei son of Mozafar, Zabi Qolizadeh, and Sattar Zaidi.
According to the report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, these four civilians of Darreh Shahr were abducted on October 19, 2022, and there has been no specific information regarding their fate and whereabouts since then, despite continuous follow-up of their families.
It is worth noting that protesters in Darreh Shahr city, Ilam province, took to the streets for the first time on Wednesday evening, and the protest gathering turned violent after security forces intervened.
