Mohammad Emami, a student of Tehran's Shahid Beheshti University, and Rashid Emami, his elder brother, were transferred to an unknown place after being abducted by Iranian security forces and their fate is uncertain.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the government forces violently abducted Mohammad Emami, a student of Biotechnology major at Shahid Beheshti University on November 26, 2022, in one of the streets of Paveh. 

According to informed sources of Hengaw, shortly after the abduction of this citizen, the government forces raided the student's parental home and also abducted his brother, Rashid Emami.

Since the abduction of the two citizens, which has been 13 days, there is no information about their health or whereabouts.

Based on the statistics registered in the Statistics and Documents Center of the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, more than 6,500 Kurdish citizens have been arrested and abducted by security agencies in the 80 days of the ongoing protests.
