Due to emotional stress, Nazila Maroufian, an imprisoned journalist from Saqqez, had an anxiety attack during the court hearing.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, Nazila Maroufian, a student of Allameh Tabataba'i University, was unconscious due to an anxiety attack and was transferred from the court to the hospital during the hearing of the charges.

It is said that after being transferred to the hospital, this journalist was returned to the prison without undergoing the full course of treatment.

Before her arrest, Nazila Maroufian worked as a reporter for the Ruydad 24 news outlet, and after publishing an interview with Jina Amini's father, she was arrested by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic in Tehran.
 
This journalist, who used to work in Dideban-e Iran media, was arrested in Tehran on Sunday night, October 30, 2022, and was later transferred to Ward 209 of Evin prison.
