Mehdi Esfandiari, from Qorveh and a student at Tabriz Technical and Vocational College, was abducted by government forces.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Mehdi Esfandiari was abducted by the government forces on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at the entrance of Technical College No. 1 in Tabriz, located on the Kasaei freeway.
The Kurdish student from Qorveh was transferred to an unknown place after being abducted, and no detailed information is available about his health.
Based on the statistics registered in the Statistics and Documents Center of the Hengaw Human Rights Organization, tens of Kurdish students have been arrested and abducted since Saturday, September 17, and the identities of 90 of them have been verified for Hengaw.
