Amir Reza Mousavianzadeh, a 16-year-old Kurdish boy from Abdanan, has been in illegal detention for the past two months as a hostage in exchange for the handover of his older brother, Amir Hossein Mousavianzadeh.

Amir Reza Mousavianzadeh, an abducted youngster from Abdanan, has reportedly remained in legal limbo since his detention, according to the information obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights.

Informed sources from Abdanan state that the Iranian court authorities have highlighted that the detention of this youngster will continue until the handover of Amir Hossein Mousavianzadeh, another member of this family, in response to the family of Amir Reza Mousavianzadeh's follow-up requests.

Amir Hossein Musovianzadeh was released after being arrested on November 19, 2022, thanks to the protest and written request of several Abdanan citizens.

It is said that by attaching a fake text to the written request of these citizens, the Iranian security authorities have started to plan a serious security scenario against Amir Hossein Mousavianzadeh and have accused him of "Moharebeh" (war against god). Since his temporary release, he has been immediately prosecuted again.

On Saturday, November 19, 2022, Amirreza Mousavianzadeh (the younger brother) was kidnapped by government forces and has been held illegally in the detention center since then.
