In recent days, two citizens from Saqqez, named Parsa Bahrami and Daniyal Maswani, were abducted by Iranian government forces and taken to an unknown place.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on January 8, 2023, a 19-year-old citizen from Saqqez named Parsa Bahrami was abducted by the intelligence department of this city.
On the other hand, on Thursday, January 5, Daniyal Maswani, a 25-year-old citizen from Saqqez, was abducted by government forces for the second time in the past three months.
It should be noted that Daniyal Maswani was arrested before by the government forces on Thursday, November 10, 2022, and after some time, he was temporarily released on bail.
There is no exact information available about the fate and whereabouts of these two citizens from Saqqez, and the follow-ups by their families have been unsuccessful in this regard.
