Jalal Alavi, Jamal Alavi, Masoud Shapheh, and Kaiwan Qasimzadeh, residents of Kuseh Kahriz village in Mahabad, and Rasul Bahmani from Khvor Khvoreh village, along with Salah Mousavi, were abducted by Iranian government forces.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on January 16, 2023, Iranian government forces abducted Jalal Alavi, Jamal Alavi, Masoud Shapheh, and Kaiwan Qasimzadeh and took them to unknown locations. The abduction of these citizens was accompanied by violence, and security forces attacked the civilian houses in Kuseh Kahriz village.
On the other hand, Rasul Bahmani, from the village of Khvor Khvoreh, was kidnapped by government forces on the evening of Sunday, January 15.
Earlier on Saturday, January 24, Salah Mousavi was abducted by government forces on the street of Mahabad.
So far, no detailed information has been received about the charges against these six citizens, their health status, or the conditions of their care.
It should be noted that Jamal Alavi was previously apprehended by Intelligence Department forces on Tuesday, August 23, 2022.
