According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, Ebrahim Salimi, the Imam of the "Chahar Yar Nabi" mosque in Piranshahr, was arrested after being summoned to the intelligence department of this city.
According to an informed source, Imam Ibrahim Salimi was summoned to the Intelligence Department through a phone call due to his support for popular resistance and the recent popular uprising.
Until the time of this writing, there was no accurate information about the fate and whereabouts of this Kurdish religious activist, and his family's efforts in this regard have been unsuccessful.
