Shahin Mohammadinoor, a Kurdish child from Javanroud, was transferred to an unknown location after being kidnapped by Iranian government forces. Thus, the number of child kidnapping cases in this city reached 29 in the past five months.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights on Thursday, February 9, 2023, 17-year-old Shahin Mohammadinoor from Javanroud city was kidnapped by Iranian government forces.
According to Hengaw’s sources, the Iranian government forces kidnapped Shahin Mohammadinoor at around 8:00 a.m. while he had just left his home.
The follow-up on this child's condition by his family has been fruitless, and the Iranian government institutions refuse to provide answers about his fate and whereabouts.
According to the statistics registered in the Statistics and Documents Center of the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, during the past five months, more than 400 Kurdish students have been abducted by Iranian government forces in various cities of Kurdistan, and the identity of 186 of them has been verified for Hengaw.
