The death sentence of Ali Dukanlo, a Kurdish prisoner accused of premeditated murder, was carried out in Urmia Central Prison. At the same time, the death sentences of Ramin Shirzadi and Jalal Taheri, two other prisoners accused of premeditated murder, who were recently transferred to this prison's solitary cell to carry out the sentence, were halted with the consent of the avengers of the blood.
According to the report received by the Hengaw organization for human rights, at dawn on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, the death sentence of Ali Dukanlo was carried out on the charges of premeditated murder.
At the same time, the death sentences of two other prisoners, Ramin Shirzadi and Jalal Taheri, were halted with the consent of their vengeful families after paying a ransom.
These prisoners, who were previously arrested and sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary, were transferred to solitary confinement in Urmia Central Prison on Monday, February 27, 2023.
It should be noted that so far, the news of the execution of Ali Dukanlo has not been announced in the Iranian state media or media affiliated with the Iranian judiciary.
