Milad Zohrevand, from Malayer City and one of the detainees of the Jina Revolution in this city, is in danger of execution due to the influence of IRGC officers.
According to the repots received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Milad Zohrevand, 20 years old and from Malayer, is on the verge of execution with the fake scenario of "murdering a member of government forces named Ali Nazari" during the recent uprisings.
According to informed sources close to this man's family, despite the express consent of the family of Ali Nazari, the security guard who was killed during the protests, the IRGC demands the death sentence of Milad Zohrevand be carried out.
On October 27, 2022, Milad Zohrevand was arrested by the IRGV forces along with five other citizens during the public protests in Malayer, and later he was sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The issuing of the death sentence and even the arrest of Milad Zohrevand have not been reported in the media so far, and Hengaw is the first media outlet to publish them.
It is worth mentioning that Milad Zohrevand was deprived of the right to access a lawyer, face-to-face meetings, and other basic rights of an accused during the entire period of his detention, even according to the minimum laws of the Islamic Republic.
While condemning and expressing deep concern, Hengaw calls for the immediate attention of human rights organizations to the situation of Milad Zohrevand in order to prevent any action in the secret execution of his death sentence.
