According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Sunday, May 6, 2023, six political activists, Ali Majdam, Mohammad Reza Moghadam, Moin Khanfari, Habib Daris, Adnan Ghobishavi, and Salim Mousavi, who are condemned to death, were transferred to Shiban Prison's solitary cells in Ahvaz, and their fate remains unknown.
Since their transfer to solitary cells, these six political prisoners haven't had any contact with their families.
It should be mentioned that Hengaw warned of the imminent execution of these six political prisoners.
The fourth branch of the Ahvaz Revolutionary Court condemned these six political prisoners to death on Tuesday, February 14, 2023.
Under torture, these six Arab political prisoners have been forced to confess their connection with the "Harek al-Nidal" movement in Europe, including exchanging money through a foreign bank and armed attacks.
The Iranian judiciary claims that these people have killed two members of the Basij, a member of the police force, and a soldier in several separate operations.
Simultaneously with the popular protests of workers in Khuzestan province in the winter of 2017, these political prisoners were arrested, and after awhile, they were transferred to Shiban Prison in Ahvaz.
