The death sentences of three prisoners imprisoned in Khorram Abad prison who were previously sentenced to death for the charge of "murder", were carried out, bringing the number of prisoners executed in the last four days to five.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the morning of Thursday, May 18, 2023, the death sentences of Ali Khorramshah Amrai and two other prisoners whose identities are being investigated by Hengaw were executed in Khorramabad prison.
The news of the execution of these prisoners, who were previously arrested and sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary, has not been announced in the domestic Iranian media, especially the media affiliated with the judiciary.
This is while, earlier on the morning of Monday, May 15, 2023, the death sentences of Mohammad Paydar and Peyman Akbari Birgani, both from Shushtar, Khuzestan province, were carried out in Khorramabad Central Prison.
